Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Pebbles, an adorable 2-year-old female who was found as a stray and never reclaimed. She is a more mellow girl but melts into cheek rubs and head scratches. Pebbles doesn’t mind other cats around and is still learning how to be buddies, as she can be a bit awkward. She is starting to interact with them a bit more, we can tell she is curious, but she is taking her time understanding cat to cat interactions. She will sometimes just stand a bit away from another cat and look at them for a while. Pebbles has started to discover playing with toys and seems to enjoy catnip toys or the shiny, crinkly ball toys. This silly girl is a gem! She will even flop over while getting pets, and has a goofy grin, where you can see her little teeth poking out.

More about this shelter
As Will County’s original no-kill shelter we’ve been serving the area for over 40 years with a single purpose, provide a safe haven for homeless pets and help them find their forever home.
Every day of the year we care for up to 30 homeless dogs and 60 cats looking for their forever homes. We provide for their general health care, shelter and well being through our network of volunteers and resources.
It’s important that you know that we’re a private shelter 501(3)(c) not-for-profit that receives no federal or local government dollars to run our facility and care for pets. In fact the shelter relies on generous donations from people just like you to make it all happen.
