Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi everyone, my name is Kiwi, and I was recently taken into the rescue from a local shelter who found themselves with a few too many buns than they were comfortable with. Sadly, I was found as a stray which is an all-too-common occurrence these days. I was a lucky bun that I was seen and caught by a good samaritan and brought to the shelter for safekeeping.
I am a sweet and energetic little girl who loves to run and play. I have been spayed and am using my litterbox quite well. I am only about 1 year of age and weigh 4 lbs. We believe that either I was starved at some point or I had to fight other animals for food as that seems to be a slight trigger for me. I come running when you fill my food bowl like I have never eaten before. We recommend no small children for me and probably someone who has a bit of experience with rabbits because of this issue. Once I am fed I am fine but because I can be nippy we always want to keep all parties safe.
I am eating a proper diet of Oxbow Adult Rabbit Pellets, lots of timothy hay and a big bowl of fresh water that is washed and changed daily. I love my daily salads and so far, romaine, carrot tops and parsley seem to be my favorites. Please do not forget my weekly treats and bananas, carrots and apple slices are also some of my favorites.
Would you consider opening your heart and home to a sweet girl like me?
