My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The Queen of the `Look, But Don’t Touch` Club
Want a dog who won’t demand constant attention? One who won’t photobomb your Zoom calls or insist on belly rubs at inconvenient times? Desiree is your girl! She’s great with other dogs and would love a furry roommate to help her navigate the world of “maybe humans aren’t so bad.”
She’s looking for a home with a patient adopter who understands that personal space is a lifestyle, not a phase. If you’re willing to let Desiree be her independent, mysterious self while she learns to trust on her own timeline, she might just decide you’re cool enough to hang out with.
Apply today to be in Desiree’s exclusive inner circle (or at least in the same general vicinity)!

More about this shelter

Hallie Hill provides sanctuary for abandoned, abused, or neglected animals- a home with food, medical care, shelter, and love. We have many animals who have been considered a little less adoptable by others because of age or lack of socialization. There are many incredible animals at the sanctuary regardless of their past.
