Meet Apollo! Apollo is a 5-year-old, 24 lb Shiba Inu/Retriever mix with a gentle heart and a sweet spirit. He sadly lost his home through no fault of his own—after his family went through a divorce, Apollo had nowhere to go. Thankfully, a kind Samaritan stepped in and reached out for help, and now this deserving boy is safe in foster care and enjoying long, peaceful trail walks with his foster mom.
Apollo is a kind, sensitive soul. He can be a bit shy at first, so he’ll thrive with someone who understands slow introductions and gentle handling. Once he feels comfortable, his loving personality really shines. He’s already bonded beautifully with the German Shepherd in his foster home—they have a blast playing together!
This smart boy has already mastered sit, and he also knows lay down and look. Even better, he’s potty trained. Apollo loves car rides, exploring new places, and being part of the adventure. He has been fully vetted, including a recent dental, and is healthy and ready for his next chapter. Due to his prey drive with small critters, Apollo will do best in a home without cats.
