Meet Big Mac: Big Mac is a handsome 2-year-old Shepherd mix who was found as a stray in Broward County before arriving at Big Dog Ranch in March 2025. He is now ready to find a stable, loving forever home. Big Mac has a high energy level and thrives with activity, making him an excellent match for an adopter or family with an active lifestyle. He does well with kids and other dogs and enjoys being part of an environment where he can play, explore, and stay engaged. He knows his basic commands, enjoys toys, and especially loves water, making enrichment and exercise a fun experience for him. While he’s energetic and playful, Big Mac also has a very affectionate side. After a day of activity, he’s happy to relax and enjoy cuddle time with his people. Big Mac would do best in a home that can provide regular exercise, structure, and companionship. In return, he offers enthusiasm, loyalty, and a well-rounded personality that blends playful energy with genuine affection. If you’re looking for an active, loving companion, Big Mac may be the perfect fit.

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit the ranch. Our website adoptions page has all of our availalbe dogs and our adoption application at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. You are welcomed to come to the ranch seven days a week or you can make an appointment with our adoption desk. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
