My name is Pluto and I’m looking for my forever home! I was born in October and I weigh 19 lbs. I’m a Shiba-Beagle mix – I guess that’s a Shibeagle? SIRA rescued my mama with us puppies smuggled in her belly. My mama is a Shiba who was found as a stray. Nobody knew who our father was, so they tested our DNA and discovered that he was a Beagle/hunting breed mix. Once I was weaned, I came to my foster home here in Lynchburg, TN. I’m having lots of fun here. I love being with other dogs – playing in the fenced yard and snuggling with them for naps. And I love cuddling with my foster mom too, especially when she gives me belly rubs. I’m a silly puppy, especially at mealtime where I will show off my best dance moves and sing my heart out when I see foster mom making my food. I love to get and give affection. I haven’t met any really little kids or cats, but I’ve been very good with older kids. I’m all about treats, which foster mom says will help me learn new commands and al the right habits and skills to be a well-behaved family member. I am a very good boy at home. I’m house trained with only an occasional accident. I'm not a fan of loud noises or baths. I’m very curious, but that doesn’t mean I get into trouble. When foster mom has to go out, I just take a nap! I’m learning how to walk on a leash. Foster mom says I’m a work in progress, but I’ll get the hang of it. My perfect forever home will have a securely fenced yard to play in and another dog who can be my friend. I’m a healthy boy – neutered and vaccinated.
