Meet Matti – A Quiet Beauty on the Road to Her Best Life
Approx. 4 years old | Adoption Fee: $275

Matti came into Animalert’s care in rough shape and needing a little extra help with her litter box habits. Thanks to the dedication of her foster family, she has made wonderful progress and is now thriving in a calm, caring environment.

Matti is a sweet and gentle soul who prefers a quiet, predictable home—ideally with someone who is home often and can offer her the steady routine she finds comforting. She can be timid and easily startled, but she’s also affectionate in her own endearing way. Each morning, she gently wakes her foster with soft pats and charmingly grumpy meows, especially when breakfast is near—her favorite time of day.

This lovely girl enjoys the simple pleasures in life: sleeping, eating, and a good brushing session (especially right before meals). With her long, beautiful coat, regular brushing is essential to keep her comfortable and mat-free.

Matti isn’t too interested in typical cat toys, but she lights up when there’s a bug to chase or a treat to track down. She’s still learning what play means and would benefit from a patient adopter who can help her discover more ways to have fun.

Thanks to a structured routine, positive reinforcement, and the use of Cat Attract litter, Matti has recently become litter box efficient. To help her continue this success, adopters should be prepared for a transition period. We recommend an open litter box with low sides, placed on an easy-to-clean floor, with pee pads underneath during the adjustment phase.

Matti is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to continue her journey with someone who can offer patience, love, and a peaceful home.
