My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rose and Lucy are two girls who have never had anything good! Are you their hero? Will you show these girls what love and safety is?

These girls were rescued from Barc after having survived a “house fire”. Most likely they survived because they belonged to backyard breeders and were kept outdoors. They are very fearful and need a person with great kindness, love and patience.

The girls are amazing and are trying so hard to learn to trust. But it is hard in boarding with varying caretakers, other dogs barking, nervous energy. The girls would do so much better in a calm household with a yard. They are great with other dogs but would love to stay together.

If you are interested in fostering or adopting these precious, deserving girls please reach out. These girls deserve so much better than they have ever had. Visit www.scoutshonor.org for more information about these amazing pups!

SHR will require an application and home visit for the adoption of any of our animals. The customary adoption fee is $150 for dogs $85 for cats.

Go meet their pets

Scout's Honor Rescue does not currently have its own facility to keep the animals in its adoption program. All animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the dog or cat at their residence until it is adopted. Consider opening your home to a dog or cat in need. You become the caregiver to a precious animal – their future is in your hands! It is incredibly rewarding to know that you have given that animal the two most precious gifts- Life and Love. For many of them, this is the first kind hand they have known.
