Brutus is an 1 Year old Pitbull with a heart full of energy and a love for life! This big, goofy boy is as playful as they come—whether he’s chasing his favorite toys or running around with other animals, he’s always up for fun. Brutus is also incredibly affectionate and loves being around people—he’s truly just a big baby at heart.

Go meet their pets

To meet our pets we ask that you schedule a time with a rescue member. We do dog/cat meets Monday-Sunday at an agreed upon time. All meets are facilitated on rescue grounds unless a home meet is required. We host adoption events on average every other weekend at our local Pets Supplies Plus.

More about this rescue

At Waiting On A Friend Rescue, our mission is to rescue and rehabilitate animals, and ultimately find them forever homes. We believe that every animal deserves a chance at a happy life. We pull almost all of our animals from the ACCT in Philadelphia. They are one of the few open intake 24/7 shelter in the greater Philadelphia area. We work as a small organization with less than 5 employees. In our first year as a rescue we adopted out more animals than the Philadelphia SPCA and had over 100+ total adoptions. We strive to not only give these animals a excellent forever home but we strive to encourage to community to adopt and educate them on Breeding and the homeless animal crisis.
