Nala is 8 years old but with a spirit of a much younger dog, cheerful, gentle, and full of love. She’s medium-sized, low-energy day-to-day, and adores cats. She’s leash and crate-trained (though she doesn’t need the crate anymore) and perfectly behaved when left alone. Nala only barks when someone knocks but quiets quickly when told “shhhh.” She knows basic commands like “sit,” “come here,” “go lay down,” and even “bark” on cue. Nala loves sunbathing, naps, and curling up while you read or watch TV. She also has surprising stamina, she can easily keep up on hikes or bike rides. Rescued as a puppy from the streets, she’s been a loving companion ever since. Nala has a mild flea allergy (to flea saliva), so monthly flea prevention is important in the warm months. If bitten, a simple allergy pill from the vet clears it up. No adoption fee—just a loving home.
