My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"We're gonna make it, give us any chance we'll take it... We're gonna make our dreams come true, doing it our way..."

Just like their iconic namesakes, Laverne and Shirley (and Carmine) are resilient, full of heart, and ready to make their dreams come true — with a little help from you.

These three were rescued from an industrial complex in Vernon, part of a high-risk colony where few cats survived. Thankfully, a compassionate individual made it her mission to save them. Initially, we were only asked to take Shirley, as she was young and already showing signs of being social.

At the time, it seemed Laverne and Carmine would need to be returned to the colony — but once they were trapped and fixed, it became clear that they had real potential to be socialized. So, we took a chance and saved them all.

Laverne and Shirley have blossomed into perfect little bundles of kitten joy — sweet, playful, and completely bonded. We would love to see them adopted together.

And if you happen to have room for one more? Carmine is coming out of his shell more every day. He’s still a bit shy, but incredibly gentle and sweet — just waiting for the right person to show him that the world is safe.

Let’s help these three keep doing it their way — safe, loved, and home at last.
