My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Let’s Talk about Byz.  Aka Dingaling.   This 11 month old kitten has been with us since he was 10 weeks old.  He came out of a Feral cat colony where most of his siblings passed away within a couple of weeks.  To say he is special is the understatement of the year.   Byz has never been healthy.  Not one moment of his life.   We had polyps removed from his ears and they have not returned but his ears are perpetually dirty.  He also has a weird gait because his equilibrium is off.  Yes, it’s an adorable gait but it is weird.  He has been on multiple courses of antibiotics because he is perpetually snotty, and yet he never passed this on to his friends so we think it may be allergies.  Like the worst allergies on the planet Earth.   He happily plays with his snot bubbles…or the kitten kibble that sometimes gets stuck on it.  Happy is the adjective for Byz.  He is ALWAYS happy.  ALWAYS playing with his friends or by himself.  He will play with toys, pens, dust, dog hair (he is fostered by a dog groomer), his own snot etc.  He has been caught trying to chew on cords so he would need to be treated like a toddler who might kill himself on an electrical cord.  He does use his litter pan well, however he has been caught pooping under the groomers sink if he is left alone for too long.  He’s super social apparently and doesn’t quite get that we ARE coming back.  So the groomer puts him up in his condo overnight when she leaves and he happily snoozes away in his bed and uses his litter pan like a good boy.  Again… toddler.

We dont know a lot of people who would want a special boy like this and we dont know if he has a very long life ahead of him with all the issues he’s had in  his short life.  That’s why his adoption fee is waived to the right home.  He has been to the vet several times and we just can’t figure out what to try next.  He does take allergy pills now thought.  We put it in his wet food which he LOVES.   Oh.. yeah..he likes to eat like a Raccoon. He puts his kibble in the water dish. So we now make his kibble cereal.  He CAN eat hard food. He just really likes it made into cereal so we add a little water to it so he stops messing up his water bowl. He IS good for his baths.  Sometimes we just have to wash his face. We used to have to bathe him a lot because he was a hot mess.  Plus did we mention he had Ringworm at once point too?  No?  Well the only thing he does NOT have is FIV/FELV. We had him tested.  Is there a test for perpetual toddler?   Did i mention he’s like a Toddler?  He’s like a Toddler.

If you think this weirdo, raccoon toddler is the cat for you.  The line forms right here.  Don’t all apply at once!  I’m sure there will be a huge crowd for this dingaling.  Ha ha ha.

All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed microchipped and flea treated before adoption.  if you would like to fill out the adoption application please visit www.hart rescue.weebly.com  filling out the application does not commit you to adoption it simply makes the approval process quicker.
