If you are interested in one of our animals, you can email us at grassrootsanimalrescue@gmail.com with any questions. You can also complete our preliminary application at www.tiny.cc/garapp. Once your application is processed, an adoption coordinator will contact you via email to set up a meeting with the animal(s) you are interested in. All of our meetings take place in Starkville, MS.

**All Grassroots Animal Rescue animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, and current on flea and heartworm prevention before adoption. All adopters are offered 30 days of complimentary emergency pet insurance through our microchip partner, 24PetWatch.**

Adoption steps

    1. An adoption coordinator will contact you to set up a meeting after the application has been processed.
  3. Meet the Pet
    1. Once your application is on file, we are happy to set up a time for you to meet the pet in Starkville, MS. We do not have a shelter facility
  4. Take the Pet Home
    1. An adoption coordinator will go over the steps to finalize the adoption via email before we coordinate a meeting.

Grassroots Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer rescue that works to rescue dogs in need in North Mississippi by rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing dogs that have been overlooked in shelters or are in danger of being euthanized. We also work to rescue dogs from local communities in need.
