Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to Booker! Booker is a striking, black-and-brown mixed-breed with a larger-than-life personality to match his 90-pound frame! At just a year and a half old, this handsome boy is brimming with energy, loyalty, and an unstoppable love for toys and adventure. Described as both playful and loving, Booker is friendly with new people—though he can be a little shy at first, he warms up quickly and soon becomes your shadow, always ready for affection (and maybe a cuddle or two)! Booker loves water, car rides, and anything that involves movement or excitement. He’s always up for a game of fetch—his favorite toy is a good ol` ball—and he’s always eager for playtime! This athletic guy also enjoys running in the yard and would be a great match for an active family who wants a companion to keep up with their lifestyle. Booker has shown friendly behavior with other dogs but that said, we recommend slow introductions with any resident pups and some structure around shared resources. He’s also still working on his leash manners—he’s strong and enthusiastic, so a confident handler (and maybe a no-pull harness) will be a great help! Booker would thrive in a home ready to continue his training journey with patience, positive reinforcement, and plenty of treats. He’s loyal, affectionate, and deeply connected to his people—once Booker bonds with you, you’ve got a best friend for life! Booker is looking for an experienced adopter who can help him continue to build confidence, provide structure, and give him the love and activity he craves. Could that be you? Ready to meet this big goofball with a heart of gold? Come spend time with Booker—you just might fall in love!
