My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lennox aka Lenny! This teenage goofball is a bundle of happy, fun-loving energy and excitement! This 1 year old, possible Lab/Border Collie/Shepherd mix loves playing with other dogs but also loves to be the center of attention. He has completed two obedience courses and knows lots of commands; along with being house, crate and leash trained. Lenny is a great young, energetic dog who needs someone who will help him gain confidence when meeting new people (he is working to overcome his “stranger danger”). Because he is deeply loyal, he can be protective of his family, so he will need a home without young children (teenagers or older) and limited exposure to new people and environments, at least in the beginning. Lenny is great at keeping you on your toes and would make a wonderful companion for someone wanting to stay active. If you’re looking for a friendly, playful youngster who wants to just hang out and run around with his family, Lenny may be just the perfect addition to your home!

Lenny has been neutered, microchipped, and kept current on vaccines and monthly preventatives. For the first steps of adoption submit an application here: https://humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application For questions you can email the foster home at julianshumate@gmail.com.
