My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pumpernickel!

Pumpernickel is a sweet, timid girl who can take a little time to warm up to new people but once she does, she’s an absolutely wonderful companion.

Two of our volunteers recently took her out for a “doggy day out,” and while it took a bit for her to feel comfortable, Pumpernickel had a fantastic time! She even did really well exploring a college campus and walking around with confidence once she felt safe.

This gentle girl thrives with patience, love, and consistency. If you’re willing to take the time to get to know her, Pumpernickel will reward you with loyalty, affection, and a heart full of love.

Her adoption fee is $300, plus an additional $60 that includes six months of heartworm prevention. The adoption fee includes her care, de-worming, microchip, spay, vaccines, fecal test, and preventatives up to the point of adoption.
