Originally named Valentina because she came to us around Valentine's Day, she really lives up to her hot sauce name. This bold girl came to Heartland after she was found as an outdoor stray and has really demonstrated how miraculous and resilient cats can be. She is a sweet pea who enjoys her CatNip and will roll around in it for hours if you let her! She does the cutest little hops as she gets zoomies and can't wait to show you how special orange female cats are! Fun fact: Most orange cats are male, so Valentina is truly an extraordinary girl! 🐈
Valentina may be young, but she has already proven to be an absolute champion! Soon after arriving at Heartland, she faced some health challenges that required her to be incredibly brave. This little fighter took every obstacle in stride, underwent intensive care, and emerged victorious! After completing a long period of treatment, she is now thriving, healthy, and ready to put her incredible journey behind her. Her amazing recovery shows just how strong, feisty, and determined this little cat truly is.
Valentina possesses a highly individualized personality. At times she seeks attention and may follow around like a shadow wanting to chat, but other times, she exudes a strong sense of autonomy, preferring to observe the world from a comfortable distance. She is incredibly smart and, much like a queen, she occasionally expresses her opinions—usually through a tiny, decisive chirp or a swift flick of her tail.
Valentina is seeking a special family and requires a predictable and tranquil environment, free from the presence of young children. She may not be a cat that will sit right on your lap or rest like a baby in your arms, but give her a throne (aka tall cat tree) to sit atop of, and she will feel right at home. She will do best in an environment where her human understands she needs a little space and respect for her boundaries.
Valentina is spayed, up-to-date on FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations, and is FIV and FeLV negative.
Valentina is currently staying at our Heartland Facility! We are open Thursday 4pm-7pm, Friday 4pm-7pm, Saturday Noon-6pm and Sunday Noon-6pm. Feel free to stop by to meet her! No appointment necessary.
