Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hannah and her sister Allie were both dropped off at the county shelter after having been picked up by a man who found them wandering around a gas station. They were not claimed, both had kennel cough, and Hannah was ultimately diagnosed with severe pneumonia, which she would not have survived at the shelter.
Fortunately a very generous couple was able to donate the time, funds, and love required to nurse them back to health and they are now ready to find their furever homes.
Hannah is exceptionally affectionate and bonds hard to those she trusts. Due to her past she can be a bit suspicious of and anxious about new people and situations, but once she gets to know you she is a most loyal, loving, funny companion. She loves to go for walks and play fetch but she is not a high-energy dog and is just as happy to hang out around the house or watch you do yard work. Hannah is neutral around dogs she has met while in foster care and would benefit from a confident doggy companion to emulate that can teach her how to play and be a dog.
Both girls are approximately one year old - their estimated DOB is 3/20/2024.
