This helps Rescue Me Georgia, INC with pet care costs.
Meet Oakleigh! Oakleigh is one of many dogs we have saved from rural Upson County lately. Being a very small, rural shelter the dogs are only held for a very short stray hold before they are at risk of euthanasia. Thankfully they have a very dedicated group of volunteers who work tirelessly to try to get the dogs to safety before their time runs out
Oakleigh is about a year and a half old and 40 lbs - what a great age and size! She was very popular at the shelter and in social media postings trying find rescue placement for her because of her gorgeous coloring but alas that wasn't enough to save her, so RMG stepped in to make sure she would be safe.
Oakleigh is great with other dogs in her foster home and has learned that her crate full of soft blankets can be a great place for a comfy afternoon nap. She's very friendly and outgoing and will make one lucky family very happy! Could it be your family?
