My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Lupin is a lovely pup with a lot of energy. He loves to run around the yard and loves going camping. He is good with adults and older children (10 and up) but not so much with younger kids. Lupin gets along with other dogs but only for a short period of time until he kicks into alpha mode and starts to push them around. He absolutely cannot be around cats. We love Lupin to death and wish we could keep him but we have been trying to acclimate him to our 2 year old son for the last 2 years and it just isn't working. It is in the best interest of ourselves and Lupin that we find him a forever home where he doesn't have to be separated from his family and can live freely amongst them. Please Contact Lupin's owner directly with the contact information below. Owner will be asking for a home visit meet and greet as well as rehoming fee. thekochuts@gmail.com

Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

**********************************************************************************

We show some of our adoptable dogs at PetSmart, Utica, each Saturday between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.  Cats typically don't do well at events, so they only attend with a pre-approved meet and greet appointment. If you are interested in a particular pet, we suggest you email: mmarpaws@gmail.com to see if that pet will be there.

Applications are approved on the basis of the best and most appropriate home for the animal, not on a first come, first served basis. On site adoption available to pre-approved applicants only.

Adoption fees go towards vaccines, heartworm prevention/testing, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter and other medical problems that may arise.

MMAR is an all volunteer, foster based, 501 (c) 3, non profit organization. Without your donation, wonderful pets like these have to be passed by because we cannot afford their care.

If you would like to donate please send donation to: MMAR Box 180155 Utica, MI 48318

More about this rescue

Making Miracles Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from shelters across Michigan. Based in Utica, Michigan, we operate as a no-kill, foster-based rescue. Although we don’t have a physical facility, we rely on compassionate foster families who open their homes to pets in need until they find their forever homes.

Our primary mission is to save as many dogs and cats as possible, regardless of breed or age. We firmly believe that senior pets deserve just as much love and care as puppies and kittens—and we’re passionate about finding loving homes for them all.

We’re also committed to promoting responsible pet ownership by encouraging spaying and neutering to prevent unwanted litters and reduce the number of animals in need of rescue.
