Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cedar wood is known for being durable and resistant to adverse conditions. Our sweet, sensitive Cedar lives up to his name- he’s a resilient boy who has proven himself to be a survivor! In early 2025, Cedar was surrendered to the shelter with his five littermates, and all were very sick. Thankfully, Cedar recovered and was adopted, only to find himself back in the shelter once again. He’s understandably cautious and needs a special family to show him stability and help him build confidence. Here’s what some of his volunteer friends have said:
“Cedar is a beautiful young dog who is very nervous in the shelter environment. Despite this, he was very easy to leash and walked beautifully to the yard. Once in the yard he explored but did not approach me. Cedar needs time to decompress. He’s a very easy dog, just scared.”
“I worked with Cedar this morning. He leashed easily and walked cautiously but well. Standoffish to start at sit-down but willing to approach with encouragement and accepted scratches and pets.”
Cedar shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been tolerant and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. If you help a shy pup learn that the world is a safe place, please ask to meet Cedar today!
