Sapphire is 1-2 years old with a heart overflowing with love, searching for her special someone. Sapphire adores car rides, a playful game of fetch and snuggling under blankets with her favorite people. She is working on her leash skills with us and our volunteers. Her deepest desire is to be a cherished companion to someone who is often home and won't leave her alone too much. Sapphire does get anxious when left alone. Our staff is happy to share more about her anxieties with adopters who are interested in learning more about her needs. Experienced dog owners, with gentle hearts and understanding spirits are sought to provide her with a secure and loving environment she deserves. A child-free home would be best, however Sapphire does enjoy the company of other animals, and has lived with other dogs in the past.
