My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable 9-month-old orange female kitten is on a journey to find her forever home. She was found by a caring park ranger at Ricketts Glen, confused and scared.

Petra is sweet, but she’s a bit timid and still learning to trust humans. Initially, she may run away or hiss as she navigates her new surroundings, which is her way of communicating her fears. She needs a nurturing environment where she can feel safe and comfortable, allowing her to decompress at her own pace. The busy shelter life has been overwhelming for her, and we believe that with the right family, she will blossom into a loving companion.

If you`re looking for a gentle soul to share your home with, consider giving Petra the second chance she deserves. With your patience and love, she’ll surely flourish and become your loving companion in time.

Can you be the one to show Petra what a true home feels like? Fill out a pre-approval form on our website to meet her and let her heart warm yours!
