Meet Skeletor – The Misunderstood King of the Windowsill
Looking for a cat with character? Meet Skeletor, a striking orange tabby with a big personality and a heart that just needs the right human to understand him. Surrendered because he wasn’t a great fit for a home with a young child, Skeletor is looking for a quieter environment where he can be himself.
Skeletor is an independent guy who knows what he likes: window naps, mealtimes, and being admired from a respectful distance—until he decides it’s time for pets. Yes, he will hiss at you. But... if you're brave enough to give him a gentle head scratch, he’ll melt into it like he’s been waiting for you all day. He’s that kind of cat: spicy on the outside, secretly affectionate on the inside.
He doesn't enjoy the company of other cats (especially the ladies—he can be a bit of a bully), so he’d do best as your one and only feline companion. Skeletor also needs a home without children and with someone who understands feline body language and boundaries. He thrives when he feels safe and in control of his space.
If you're a cat-savvy person looking for a quirky companion with a big personality, Skeletor might just be your guy. He’s not for everyone—but for the right person, he’ll be unforgettable.
Skeletor is about 8-9 years old, snap tested negative for FIV/FELV, up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. All he needs is you, your suit of armor, and your nerves of steel to love him. Apply here: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=28
