Meet Coco, a loyal and affectionate three-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix from Asheville, NC, whose big heart is matched only by his love for playtime and cuddles! With his partially brindled black-and-white coat and soulful eyes, Coco is a true companion dog—one who wants to be by your side, whether chasing after his favorite ball or curling up for a relaxing evening on the couch.

Coco is a high-energy pup who thrives on activity. He absolutely loves playing fetch, chewing on a good bone, and soaking up all the affection he can get. He’s a smart boy who knows commands like sit, stay and go to your place, and even responds excitedly to “Do you want your food?”—especially if it involves his favorite treats like cheese or apple slices!

Because Coco can be reactive when meeting new dogs, he’s looking for a home where he can get some support in this area. He’s never shown aggression toward people, but due to his size and strong personality, a household without small children would be the best fit. A secure, fenced yard would be ideal for him to burn off energy, but he’ll also need a patient and experienced pet parent who can manage his leash reactivity and give him structured exercise.

At home, Coco is a loving, devoted companion who just wants to be near his favorite people! He’ll happily rest his head on your lap, lean in for pets, or simply sit close by, enjoying your presence. He sleeps soundly in his own space, eats well and is house-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations—ready for his new adventure with his next loving family!

Are you looking for a playful, loyal, and affectionate companion who will love you unconditionally? Then reach out today at thallis.santesteban@gmail.com or 210-254-3078 to learn more about Coco!

All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.

Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.

Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
