My name is Momma G!

Hi! I'm Momma G! I am one of the longest residents here at Newlife. I am a very shy girl at first, so it takes a long while for me to come out of my shell and warm up to you! I've only warmed up to a few people at the shelter, even though I've been here for almost three years now! My secret though, is food. I love my kitty treats, and my Chick Fil A! I might not let anyone love on me all the time, but I'll still take all the yummies I can get! I am a nocturnal girl, and enjoy coming out more at night, but that might be because it's after everyone is gone! I like laying in our windows and sitting at the very top of the cat tree. I am a very reserved girl, and it will definitely take some time for me to open up to you. I am definitely a lover though, whether I know it or not! On the rare chance I let someone give me cheek scratches, I just melt into them! They have to move slowly though, or I will be scared that she is trying to pull a fast one on me, like giving me yucky medicine. I need someone who is willing to give me a chance. I'm going to hide at first, thats a given. Someone who has a room to keep me in until I warm up to them will probably be my best bet! You are more than welcome to come see me here at the shelter, just please don't get upset if I run! Deep down I know you mean well. Bring me some treats and just hang out and talk, it will take time, but I know I will warm up to you!
