My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Date of Birth: 10/1/2021
Sweet Elsie was pulled from a very high-kill shelter as she had ringworm and they were going to kill her. The ringworm was treated and resolved but she had been so traumatized by everything she had gone through that she was not very happy with any human contact. She was being fostered by the founder of the Cat Posse and had to be evacuated during the Eaton Fire and in her current foster home she has blossomed into a completely different cat. She loves getting pets and really enjoys her human caretakers as well as her kitty pals. Is there someone that could be patient with her and give her time to be even more comfortable in a new, forever home? We think she would do best in a home with another friendly cat, that won't bully her.

More about this rescue

The Cat Posse is a group of individuals devoted to rescuing and rehabilitating unwanted and abused cats in Southern California. We educate our communities about the importance of spaying and neutering, and we believe that all animals deserve dignity and kindness as we work toward the day when all public shelters will be "no kill".
