My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Storme is a striking black and white domestic shorthair with a bold personality to match her name. Independent and curious, she enjoys exploring her surroundings and calling the shots in her own unique way. She’s a chatty girl who isn’t afraid to voice her opinions, whether she’s asking for food, attention, or simply narrating her day. Storme thrives as either a farm cat with room to roam or as the only pet in a household where she can be the queen of her domain.

While she enjoys human interaction, Storme prefers the company of cat-savvy children who understand her independent nature. She isn’t the type to tolerate pushy pets but will happily engage on her own terms. Whether she’s surveying her kingdom from a high perch or chatting away about her latest discoveries, Storme is sure to bring a mix of sass, charm, and companionship to the right home.

Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
