Charlie is a 4-5 year old, female Rottweiler from South Los Angeles Animal Shelter. It is clear Charlie had a hard life prior to arriving at South LA shelter. She was very emaciated... incredibly underweight for her size and age: 63lbs. Her ribs and hips were visible but luckily, she was with a wonderful foster who has gotten Charlie to a healthy weight! Additionally, Charlie was a mama who has had a litter or two.
Charlie is the most loving girl who was dealt an awful hand at life but now, is looking for a caring, loving and committed family to show her how wonderful the world can truly be! Charlie loves snuggles on the couch, being by her person and patrolling a backyard. She is all the wonderful things about a Rottie: loyal, loving, serious with a hint of goofy, alert and willing to learn! She is learning leash manners, crate training, and how to be loved at the rescue in SLC, Utah currently.
We are looking for a home that knows the Rottweiler breed and can give this girl all of the love and structure that she needs to thrive!
