My name is Kalzone!

Kalzone is a one-year-old grey tabby with a heart as warm as his name. Found on the streets of Florida when he was only a few months old, this sweet boy was battling mange and trying to survive on his own. With time, medical care, and lots of love, he made a full recovery—blossoming into one of the most affectionate, gentle, and people-loving cats you’ll ever meet.

Kalzone was adopted once, but unfortunately returned—not due to anything he did. The resident cat never adjusted to having another male cat in the home, even with slow and proper introductions. The good news? Kalzone does beautifully with every other cat he’s ever met. In fact, he thrives with feline companions. He loves to play, is incredibly respectful, and has been spotted grooming other cats in the shelter, showing just how nurturing and social he truly is.

This mellow, well-behaved boy loves nothing more than being close to his humans—cuddling in your lap, resting in your arms, or making biscuits right on your chest. He’s past the wild kitten stage but still playful, giving you the perfect blend of fun and easygoing companionship. His foster describes him as “the absolute sweetest boy,” and anyone who meets him quickly agrees.
