My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ahoy there! I’m Marco
A spirited young explorer with a big personality and even bigger energy!

I’m a playful, curious brown tabby who’s always on the move—zipping through tunnels, scaling cat trees, and claiming the highest perch like the little adventurer I am. Life’s an exciting journey, and I’m ready to share it with someone who gets me.

I’m full of love and affection, but I also have strong feelings—and I need a person who understands cat body language and knows when I’m ready for attention and when I need a little space. Once I feel safe and secure, I’ll show you my sweet, snuggly side with lots of purrs and playful charm.

Because of my energy and communication style, I’d do best in an adult-only home with someone who has some cat experience. Nothing fancy—just a calm, understanding person who’ll let me be myself and guide me with patience and love.

If you're looking for a bold, lively companion who’ll make you laugh, keep you company, and turn your home into a playground of fun and affection, I might be your perfect match. Let’s start our next adventure together!

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
