Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Milo! 🐾 Milo is a 3.5-year-old Shepherd mix with a gentle soul and kind eyes. Though he can be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for his sweet personality to shine through. Once he feels safe, Milo loves quietly hanging out with his favorite humans and soaking up gentle affection.
He’s looking for a patient forever home that will give him the time and love he needs to blossom. A calm environment with understanding people will help this loyal boy truly thrive. If you’re searching for a loving companion who just needs a chance to open his heart, Milo may be your perfect match.
🐶 Transport Available! Milo can be transported out of Texas through Rescue for an additional $230 fee.
Disclaimer: I am located in Texas. I can be transported once adopted. Transport fee is $230.*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations).
Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Considering distance, if you are close enough to where the pet is fostering, we like for you to meet the pet. If not, we can send pics/video

More about this rescue
We are a foster - based rescue that formed out of necessity because there was such a high-kill rate at our local city shelter. We rescue dogs from the shelter when the shelter becomes full. Otherwise, they are put down after their allotted time is up. We then place them in loving foster homes until they are adopted.
We also rescue other pets from the community as needed.
