My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Josh — Your Future Lap Warmer Extraordinaire!

Just over a year old, Josh is a snuggly gray sweetheart with a serious talent for love. Within minutes of you sitting down, he’ll rub against you and curl in as close as possible—often resting his chin on your lap or flipping onto his back for belly rubs while stretching out in total contentment. Yes, he really is that affectionate.

Josh can be a little shy in new environments, so he’ll need a bit of time to settle in before his full lovebug personality shines through—but once it does, you’ll have a loyal cuddle companion for life.

Most of the time, Josh is a pretty chill, easygoing guy. But when the play switch flips? He becomes a full-on goofball who loves rough-and-tumble play. He gets along well with other cats, but he’d do best with feline friends who don’t mind the occasional enthusiastic tackle. He’d also do wonderfully as a solo cat—especially in a home that loves snuggles and playtime in equal measure.

Josh previously dealt with urinary crystals, but the great news is that his urinary diet has fully and successfully kept everything under control. He’s thriving on it, and Scruffy Paws will provide his first 6 months of food to help him continue doing so. A home with another cat already on a urinary diet could be a nice match for him—but it’s absolutely not required.

When he’s not soaking up affection, Josh turns into a wand-toy warrior, growling with pride as he parades around with his “catch.” He’s playful, sweet, social, and always up for attention or a round of zoomies.
With a feather wand in one paw and a heart full of purrs, Josh is ready to find his forever family!
