My name is Nino!

Nino tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home.

My Foster wrote: Meet Nino! This sweet, shy boy is looking for a patient and loving home. He's a bit timid and slow to warm up to new people, but with time and gentle care, he'll show you his more affectionate side. Nino loves to play with his cat toys and enjoys climbing his cat tree, especially when no one is watching-he's most active when you're in another room or out of the house. While he doesn't enjoy being picked up or pet right away, he'll gradually get more comfortable and might even surprise you with a sweet meow! If you're willing to give him the space and time he needs, Nino will make a wonderful companion.
