Lila is 7 years old, fully vaccinated, and extremely healthy. We adopted her from a shelter 3 years ago. She is wonderful with people of all ages, very much including our 2 year old who adores her. Lila is smart, high energy, funny, and extremely loving.
Lila has had rough encounters with other dogs, provoked and unprovoked. We don’t let her off leash when we’re out. We worked with a trainer early on, but after the arrival of our son we weren’t able to keep up with it.
Lila will thrive in loving one-pet household with ample room and opportunity for exercise. She might also thrive in a different setting, with the support of an experienced, committed dog-lover who's able to work with a trainer.
We recently moved to an intentional community where several other dogs reside. We’ve tried to make it work here, but we have reached the very difficult point of accepting that we’re simply not able to provide Lila with the home she needs.
