My name is Stevie. I am a very classy lady with a little spunk. I am blind so I cannot see you, but my hearing is impeccable! I am always listening for the next fun thing to come my way. Crinkly toys drive me bonkers and I can't wait to play. I am also in love with the culinary arts, we food and food inside of toys makes my day special. I like to be carried like a princess, but if you know where you're going then I trust you to walk and I'll follow you to fun places. I love walks and I love to smell everything. I am an explorer and I am looking for my co-captain. Where I live right now is a hospital. I went there to get a check up before being able to be adopted and we decided I should stay because I have lots of friends and they know the things I like. I do admit that I am afraid of other pets, but I haven't really met too many. Being blind is kind of hard sometimes to meet new friends. I would do well with another older dog who wants to be my friend. A person who likes to move at their own pace is who I want. Do you like to smell the flowers and snuggle up with a good audio book? I am your girl!

Our adoption process starts with an application followed by an interview. If all goes well we will proceed with a home visit. At the time of the home visit we will bring the dog with us. If the home is safe, you will complete the adoption contract, pay the adoption fee and we will leave your new family member with you at that time.

Our adoption events are in Orange County on every Saturday. We also can make special arrangements during the week when it is impossible for someone to come on the weekends. Our goal is to pair up good pet parents with loving dogs in need.

Our dogs are rescued from what is called "death row" at the city and county shelters, from a life abandoned on the streets, or from other situations of neglect and cruelty. While in our care they receive love, rehabilitation and medical care, if needed, and grooming. Since we are a small group, we are always in need of donations of any kind.
