Meet Boujee! This 11-month-old, 51-pound terrier mix is full of love, energy, and intelligence. Despite a rough start—being abandoned and left to fend for herself—Boujee is thriving in her foster home and learning how to be a well-mannered pup!
She’s potty trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands. Boujee is affectionate and loves nothing more than curling up in her foster mom’s lap for TV time. She also enjoys playtime, daily walks, and chewing on her favorite squeaky and rubber toys.
Boujee is a social butterfly but prefers human companionship over canine friends. She currently lives with two dogs and is working on her social skills with them. She has attended doggy daycare and met other pups but shines the most when she’s with people.
She also shares her foster home with a cat. While she’s playful and may give chase, she does it in fun—so she’d do best with a dog-savvy cat. Boujee has never been around young children, so slow introductions are recommended.
She does well in a fenced yard but is also happy with leash walks. Boujee is looking for a loving home where she can continue to grow and be the affectionate, playful pup she’s meant to be. She has so much love to give!

We are open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm for adoptions. Thursdays we offer later appointments and are open 10am-12pm and 1pm-6pm for adoptions ONLY. All Thursday evening appointments must be scheduled before 4pm. Adoptions range from 60 to 90 minutes to complete. The shelter is closed on Sundays, Mondays and major holidays.
