Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lily Peach is a lovely domestic shorthair calico with a gentle soul and a patchwork coat of orange, black, and white. She can be a little shy at first, often needing time and patience to warm up to new people. But once she feels safe, Lily Peach transforms into a sweet lap cat who adores quiet affection and cozy cuddles. Though she’s front paw declawed, she’s still active and independent, enjoying her own space and time to explore.
While she may be skittish with sudden movements or loud noises, Lily Peach gets along well with other cats and does great with gentle children who respect her boundaries. She’s the kind of companion who thrives in a calm, steady environment—one where she can come out of her shell on her own terms and offer her soft, loving presence in return.
Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!
Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.
Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
