My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This dog is recommended for a home with high school aged children.

Due to my physical appearance, I may experience discrimination and be unable to live in a city with Breed Specific Legislation.

Staff & Volunteer Testimonials:

`Calvin is a forever baby, I`ve known him for awhile now, and he`s still the same as when he was an awkward teenager. Even when you look at him, his paws, something just screams `I`m a big baby`. He is huge, but usually does a working walk with me at heel, of his own accord. He`s quite trainable, and treat motivated.`

`Calvin loves playing with his doggy friends and always bring alot of energy to everything he does. He will excel at being your loyal friend and will follow you anywhere.`

`Calvin is an incredibly sweet, intelligent, and loving dog. He is a true believer in MilkBones and a cuddle bug.`

Pet of the Week Bio:

Calvin is the kind of dog who turns heads and melts hearts—an irresistible combination of big presence and even bigger sweetness. He is the definition of a big puppy! Big love, big cuddles, and big fun! At 80 lbs, he’s got the size of a grown dog and the heart of a playful goofball. This lovable 2-year-old is full of charm, always ready to learn, and super food-motivated—which makes training him a breeze! He already knows place, down, and sit, and he’s eager to keep adding to his skillset.

Calvin is a great listener and an even better cuddle buddy. He adores spending time with his human pals and enjoys hanging out with his dog friends, too. Whether he’s showing off his obedience or flopping over for some love, Calvin is just happy to be by your side.

Calvin is looking for a home ready for fun, laughter, and large doses of love. He is looking for someone who enjoys training and bonding with their dog. This boy is hoping for a family who embraces his big-puppy energy and one that has an endless supply of treats available.
