Olive came to ACR last fall after a delivery truck driver noticed what looked like a cat stuck to the ground. She got out of her truck to check and quickly realized there was something seriously wrong with the kitten -- she was covered in a sticky substance the driver couldn’t figure out. After contacting a volunteer at ACR, Olive was rushed to a foster. Upon her arrival it was quickly realized that Olive had jumped, fell, or been dropped into a container of cooking grease! After many baths, the oil was removed from her fur. It took a while to get the smell out of her fur and for the burns on her front legs to heal up.

Olive is a beautiful calico kitty who enjoys watching the world pass by. She's a cautious girl who requires a quieter home where she will be given time to investigate her surroundings. Once she is settled in, she’ll start to trust her human friends and quickly enjoy head scratches! Olive is truly a sweet girl, and she's looking forward to finding her forever family!
