My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Estimated DOB: 2020

Meet Randi

Randi was found in a park in Salem, already neutered, so he must have had a home at some point. When he first arrived, he was very scared—hissy, spitty, and ferocious! It took a couple of weeks in his foster home for him to realize that life with humans could be safe and calm.

Randi needs a patient adopter who can provide a quiet, adult-only home with no other cats. His foster dogs have learned to leave him alone, but ideally, Randi would be the only pet. He would love a catio where he can safely observe birds and enjoy the outdoors from a secure vantage point.

This chill guy enjoys lounging and surveying his kingdom from up high. With the right person, Randi will blossom into the affectionate, confident cat he was meant to be.

Adoption Fees:
• $100 for adults (12+ months)
• $125 for kittens (under 12 months)

All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines.

We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match each kitty with the purrfect home.

Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets.

Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs

Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline companion. A buddy supports healthy play, emotional development, and confidence. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home.

Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized.
