Daisy Maisie is a 48-pound bundle of love wrapped in a solid, strong, and active English Bulldog body. She believes personal space is overrated-if you're sitting, she's snuggling!
Daisy adores people, especially her foster mom's visiting granddaughters (ages 7 and 5), and soaks up all the affection she can get. However, she's made it clear she prefers to be the only canine ruler of her castle. As for cats? That's a mystery still waiting to be solved!
Walking Daisy is an experience-she's equipped with a Wonder Walker harness and double leash (no pressure on her neck), but when she's held back from expressing her strong opinions about other dogs, she lets out sounds that can only be described as a dinosaur in distress. She also has a legendary snore. Yes, Daisy is delightfully dramatic! Speaking of drama, she takes extreme offense to nose moisturizer and will immediately attempt to rid herself of it using any furniture, drapes, or blankets in reach.
While she hasn't mastered any fancy tricks or polished manners yet, her foster mom believes she's earned all the comfort, affection, and companionship the world has to offer. If you're looking for a hilarious, affectionate, and utterly lovable companion, Daisy Maisie is your girl!

Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
