Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rusty is a 3 year old red heeler mix. He loves his humans and wants to be scratched, hugged and loved on! He has a trigger leg that starts tapping when being scratched lol!
He can be dog selective and would like a home where he can be the alpha dog. He plays well with male dogs from 35-50 lbs. He is a tank and would need a play mate that can handle wrestling with rock solid muscle! He grumbles when he plays which is fun to watch!
He has a lot of energy and will need exercise to tire him out. He does need to be separated during feedings as he enjoys eating alone. He does not like to be confined in a crate, but he does well with a designated room with a dog bed. He knows sit and lay and is very food motivated. His owner will need to have a harness for him and can't use a choke chain or restrictive collars as he has been hurt by them in the past. He loves to play with dog toys, balls and ropes are his favorites! He is altered and up to date on shots. Call Teri at 630-897-7454 to meet this silly guy! The adoption fee is $275.
