Meet Poppy, the girl who needs a real chance at her forever. At just under a year old, Poppy has yet to find a home ready to embrace her energy, sassiness and enormous amounts of love that she has to give. She has an excellent foundation in the basics like sit, paw, down, come, and stay. She is familiar with puzzle toys and according to her, fetch is probably the best game ever invented. Poppy loves to gaze into your eyes and be pet just as much as she loves to run and play. But....give her an inch and she`ll take a mile! Poppy needs a structured and active home that will continue training and keep her mind and body engaged. She has attended doggy daycare and does well with other dogs in general, but she would need to meet any resident dogs before going to her new home. While she has lived in a home with kitties before, please know that she also thinks they`re fun to chase and herd, so confident and outgoing cats are best. Poppy loves all people and would likely love a family with kids who can help her play off some of her energy.
Are you the family to give Poppy her forever home? If you might be, please come and meet her today at The NOAH Center!
