Mouse is a friendly, outgoing girl with a heart full of love and a purr that will melt your heart. This sweet lady absolutely lives for pets and will melt under your touch, whether it's a gentle scratch behind the ears or a long brushing session. Her affectionate nature makes her the ultimate cuddle buddy, always ready to snuggle up and shower you with love. She even LOVES giving kisses—it’s her favorite way of showing affection!
Mouse also enjoys making new human friends, and her playful spirit and gentle demeanor make her a joy to have around. She loves to spend her days watching the world go by from a sunny window perch. Mouse would thrive as the one and only kitty in your home so she can soak up all the love and affection.
Mouse has been diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)—the most common type of heart disease in cats. The prognosis for HCM is variable: some cats progress, while others go on to live long, healthy lives. Monitoring typically includes chest x-rays and echocardiograms (ultrasounds of the heart) to keep an eye on any changes. An echocardiogram performed here showed that she benefits from a medication called a beta blocker, which she now takes indefinitely. This medication helps protect her heart by reducing overwork and slowing progression of the disease.
Don’t worry, though—Mouse still has so much love to give and life to enjoy! Whether you’re looking for a companion to share cozy moments with or a playful buddy to brighten your days, Mouse is your gal.
For more information, email info@ahconnects.org or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 0, and the staff will be happy to help you.
Our cats & kittens go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on core vaccines, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
