Bitsy is a friendly, young girl with the best mellow vibes. She’s the kind of cat who’s happiest soaking up the sun in a quiet spot, lounging on a soft bed, and enjoying a few gentle pets. She’s easygoing, low-key, and doesn’t ask for much—just some treats, affection, and a calm place to call home.
Bitsy gets along with most other cats and came from a dog breeder, so she should also do just fine with cat-savvy dogs. She’s truly a sweet, adaptable kitty.
She recently found her way back to our shelter through no fault of her own. Her previous home had a lot of cats, and the busy environment seemed to be overwhelming for her, which led to some litter box issues. Since she’s been back with us, she’s been using the litter box. We use a clay litter with some Dr. Elsey’s cat attract. So either she didn’t like the litter being used in her former home or she was stressed which can cause litter box issues.
Because of this, we recommend starting her off slowly in a smaller space—like a guest room or bathroom—to help her acclimate comfortably to her environment.
With patience and a peaceful setup, we think Bitsy will do great and be your new best friend!
