Likes: Snuggling with his humans, meeting new people, sitting on windowsills, chasing feather wand toys, and belly rubs.
Dislikes: Casserole is generally easygoing but dislikes the cat carrier.
What would be the ideal home? Casserole’s ideal home would be one where people are home often, as he loves being the center of attention and thrives on interaction!
Good with other cats? No (Casserole is FELV & FIV positive, so would likely not be able to cohabit with other cats).
Good with dogs? Possibly, provided the introductions are made slowly so that he feels safe and comfortable.
Good with children? Probably – he is very playful, and loves being picked up and cuddled!
Personality: Casserole is a playful and affectionate cat who loves attention! Once he settles into his new home, he’ll want to be involved in everything his humans do and will quickly become very attached. He’s also extremely friendly and welcoming to new people—he’ll happily approach visitors and roll over for belly rubs right away. Additionally, he’s full of energy and enjoys chasing his favorite toys around.
How long will it take to settle into a new environment? 2-3 weeks
Any special needs or traits an adopter should know? Casserole is an incredibly lovable boy with a curious streak! He’s always eager to explore, and his nosiness sometimes leads him to play with things that aren’t toys, nibble on things that aren’t food, or squeeze into small spaces like closets or behind appliances. Due to his curious nature, he has tried to eat clumping clay litter in the past, so he’ll need to be provided with non-clumping litter to keep him safe.
Medical: On a urinary diet, FIV & FeLV+
