My story

Venus is a 1yo 8lb Terrier mix. She’s dog and older kid friendly. She’s housebroken when kept on a schedule and crate trained. She’s used to her fosters secure fenced in yard and would need some extra work on harness leash walking. She’s very active, affectionate and cuddly especially with her people.

Venus’s foster requires a home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, another playful dog, an active family, if kids should be older since very young kids overwhelm her along with giving leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.

Venus as all dogs should have 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first.
