Meet Bet! Bet is looking for a forever home with his brother, Alpha. Both kittens were born around August 2024. Bet loves his brother so much, and will cry when they are separated. Bet and his brother usually come to the door to greet their foster mom when she comes home. Alpha and Bet like to have this opportunity to say hello and may follow their foster mom around and meow if they are not given a minute to connect with her.
Bet is the talkative one, and loves to tell you how his day is going. Between the two of them, Bet is more independent but still loves some attention. If Bet sees Alpha getting lots of attention, Bet will usually come over and seek some pets. When relaxed, Bet lays stretched out on his side or his back, showing his trust in those around him. Bet has a beautiful fluffy coat and tail!
When Bet’s food bowl is placed on a raised surface, he likes to create a game by knocking one piece off the surface at time and chasing after it. He likes it even better when his foster mom throws the kibble for him. It’s a joy to watch this giant ball of fluffy cat leap and pounce on kibble.
To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Bet is residing in a foster home in Catonsville, MD (Baltimore county).
