Hefty is a big, sweet boy with a shy soul. He’s gentle and loving once he feels safe, but he needs a little time and patience to come out of his shell. He does wonderfully with other cats and would thrive in a quiet home. Due to his nervous nature, a home without dogs is best, and his status with small children is unknown. If you’re the kind of person who understands the beauty of earning a shy cat’s trust, Hefty will reward you with endless love.

We are a Foster-to-adopt organization. There is a six month foster period before the adoption is official to ensure that the animal is a good fit for the home.
During that time either the foster family or the rescue can end the process and the animal will be returned to the rescue.
